Ready to refer a patient?
Our team will contact the patient or family within 24–48 hours after receiving the referral.
Who We Work With

Myo Speech and Feeding welcomes referrals from healthcare professionals and other providers who recognize concerns involving communication, feeding, swallowing, oral function, or related areas of care.
Depending on who they commonly receive referrals from, we can specifically name providers here - for example:
-
Pediatricians and primary care providers
-
Dentists and pediatric dentists
-
Orthodontists
-
ENTs
-
Lactation professionals
-
Occupational and physical therapists
-
Speech-language pathologists
-
Myofunctional therapists
-
Other healthcare and allied health professionals
I would verify this list with them before publishing rather than assume every category belongs.
When Should I Refer?
Consider referring when a patient presents with concerns related to:
Speech & Communication
Speech sound difficulties, articulation concerns, reduced intelligibility, or other communication challenges.
Feeding
Difficulty transitioning textures, limited food repertoire, chewing difficulties, prolonged mealtimes, or other feeding concerns.
Swallowing
Concerns related to chewing, swallowing, oral coordination, or safe and efficient eating.
Orofacial Myofunctional Function
Tongue posture, oral resting posture, swallowing patterns, mouth breathing, or other functional concerns involving the lips, tongue, jaw, and oral structures.
We can refine these considerably once we confirm exactly which services Myo Speech and Feeding wants providers referring for. I don't want this section to accidentally make clinical claims beyond their scope.
